Distinguish Object cache and Metadata cache?

I have a fair understanding of metadata cache which can be a key-value format, and not clear with the concept of object cache.

Does an object cache store files and media content, and are there significant caches present just like Memcached and Redis for metadata cache?

Your explanation refers to object storage. Please clarify whether you are asking about the object storage or object cache.
Also, if your question is about object store then you’re right. Object storage is a BLOB store to store relatively longer data.
