Are the design problems done in java? Is the knowledge of any specific framework required here?

In an OOD interview, the design problems can be attempted in a language of your choice. You can ask the interviewer at the start if you wish to clarify anything further.
For the interview only, no knowledge about web development frameworks like SpringBoot is required. You just need to have command on OOP basics and know the approach of solving design problems. In addition, you should be aware of the syntax of the language you choose to attempt your interview in.
The interviewer requires you to propose an object-oriented design solution. You are not required to dive into implementation-level details at this stage.
