So, the solution says we use db like sql server. However in the data partitioning section we partition by movieid . So are we talking about primary key in data partitioning in sql server? But we can’t control what type of partitioning sql server uses correct?

Followup to this question- can you give an example of a RDBMS that out of the box can partition across multiple machines? My understanding is that RDBMS can only partition on same machine
