Why Coin base although dealt with money where relationship modelling is highly required went to Mongo Db which is a No Sql

Why Coin base did not use relational database as the existence of relation ship is vital in here right ?

Customer and their accounts deals with money so strong consistency should be maintained right ?
So the only reason that comes to my mind is the schema can evolve as its a start up so is that reason can supersede the others?

@saravanakumar Coinbase would not be using just one database rather they would have implemented a polyglot persistence system comprising of several databases including a relational one.
