Hi, for the “Bandwidth estimates” part, I don’t understand why we calculate incoming and outgoing data like that. I believe read requests also contribute to incoming data, which means incoming data is 100KB/s + 10MB/s
Am I misunderstanding anything here?
+1 for this question. I had the same question as well. It would be good to clarify in the article what does it mean by “Bandwidth” in this context. If we are measuring network traffic, we need to consider the traffic for both new URL requests + redirect requests.
I am aware this is supposed to be a high level design which is supposed provide rough estimates, but this particular equation adds more confusion than clarity.
