Designing Pastebin

22GB is negligible compared to 36TB. To keep some margin, we will assume a 70% capacity model (meaning we don’t want to use more than 70% of our total storage capacity at any point), which raises our storage needs to 51.4TB.

How 51.4 TB is calculated?

Hi, I would look at it like this. 70% of 51.4TB is approx to 36TB. But here, I have another question where from 36TB comes from ?

1m requests per day = 30m per month = 360m per year = 3.6B per 10 years
3.6B requests = 3.6 * 10^9 * 10 KB = 36TB

Just divide by 0.7

So its 36 TB / 0.7 ~= 51.4 TB
