I am in the process of creating a course and cannot find a way to get a link for a tester to try it out before it’s published. What is the correct way to invite someone to try my course before it’s published?

You can add a collaborator to your course. Then a collaborator can view your course easily. One thing that is to be noted is that collaborator will also have edit access to your course.
One thing you can do is contact educative and get your course reviewed before publishing it by their team that would help you a lot to make sure the quality of the course.
The best way would be to contact Educative, Inc.
Note: Collaborator must have an account on educative.io
