How to update to Node 14 or higher?

I am in the “try it yourself” section of Setting up the environment where I am asked to create the application by using npx create-react-app react-examples but instead of the expected output I receive

You are running Node 12.22.7.
Create React App requires Node 14 or higher. 
Please update your version of Node.

How do I update Node so I can start this course?
